Picked up the ol race bib n chip at the big expo they throw at the convention center. Just a ton of people and a mix of excitement and apprehension in the air. There is a definite confidence building effect in mingling with so many like-minded people.
Weather looks like it could be a factor with temps supposed to push 80 by noontime. It was at least 75 by 10 am today so hydration will the key to beating the heat tomorrow. There may also be some strong winds in the canyon pass where the whole thing starts. It may work to advantage though if it comes down thru the pass which seems to be the way it works up there.
Other than that, it's showtime baby....pick'm up and lay'm down for a good 4-5 hours. Yeah....
